A ubiquitous feature of coastal landscape, the Australian pipi nestles lightly on the edge of the waterline. A shallow impression of the pipi’s transient home is revealed when collected from the sand - soon to be washed away by the incoming tide. Awed by this fleeting beauty, Casey has captured and distilled the shallow impression into the tessellating patterns of Pipi.
Standard timber species include American Oak, Walnut and Ash, Tasmanian Oak, Spotted Gum and Blackbutt - other species are available on request. Most timber species are fire rated to Group 3.
Panels are finished with an eco-friendly Osmo coating system and can be custom stained or painted in RAL and NCS colours within the Osmo coating system for specific projects. Re-coating can be completed on-site if required.
Tiles periodically require dusting with an air blower or damp cloth.
Timber Panels: 330 x 330 x 50mm installed with a 3mm gap between panels to allow for timber movement. 9 panels are required to cover 1 sqm.
Installation Backing Panel: 1000mm x 1000mm x 12mm plywood.
