Pipi

Pipi
By Caroline Casey

A ubiquitous feature of coastal landscape, the Australian pipi nestles lightly on the edge of the waterline. A shallow impression of the pipi’s transient home is revealed when collected from the sand - soon to be washed away by the incoming tide. Awed by this fleeting beauty, Casey has captured and distilled the shallow impression into the tessellating patterns of Pipi.
